My upset pick of the week is the Carolina Panthers to topple the Greeen Bay Packers . With Rookie quarterback Cam Newton , veteran wide receiver Steve Smith both were stellar in week 1 . Newton took last weeks lost so personal and so hard he spent most of Monday night breaking down film and then showed back up Tuesday morning on his off day to again study video and play sheets before and after he shot a play 60 commercial . Green Bay just allowed the Saints offense to put over 475 yards and 34 points on their defense in week 1. We know the Panthers are capable of putting up stats like that but its not likely to happen against the Pack but I am predicting a major upset I call the Panthers to win the game in the 4th quarter and upset the Pack .
