CAM NEWTON was the highest scorer in fantasy football sunday in the game against Arizona . He threw for 422 yards and a total of 3 touchdowns one of which Newton ran it in himself . Peyton Manning had the record as a rookie quarterback throwing the most yards in week 1 , not anymore . Cam Newton now holds this record in his first NFL game .Too bad for fantasy owners though not too many if any had Newton in their starting line-ups . I actually picked up Newton after I heard the news about Manning but still there is no way I could have started the rookie before seeing what he would do in week 1 . Now that we all know what he is capable of I'm still not certain of his starting potential in my league I have not made up my mind yet about starting Newton in week 2 , even though I'm struggling with Eli Manning as my starter now , as soon as I do decide if I will start Cam or not I will post it on my blog so stay tuned .......
