Team officials said Monday the four time league MVP has been told by doctors that he should not practice . Manning will be listed as doubtful for the season opener against Houston. This makes it hard for fantasy owners like myself who actually has Manning as their starting quarterback with my back up being his brother Eli Manning this puts me in a little bit of a situation as we know Eli is no Peyton .I can only hope that Peyton makes a speedy recovery and comes back just as strong as he was before this surgery . My opinion is that this will affect the rest of Peyton's career and this could force him into early retirement . The best thing for Manning is to take all the time he needs to recover and not force a return before he is absolutely ready .
