Saints kicker Garret Hartley injured his hip in the third preseason game against Oakland . Now he will be out at least 6 weeks with a HIP FLEXOR injury . Saints went out and got Carolinas kicker JOHN KASAY
to take Hartley's spot for the time being . According to reports Hartley's injury will not require surgery but it will take approximately 6-8 weeks to heal . If you drafted Hartley in your fantasy league you would be better off to drop him and pick up a kicker off waivers . Perhaps even pick up Kasay as your kicker it might not be a bad idea . Once Hartley returns then i would make sure to grab him off the waiver wire again because he has proven to be a good fantasy kicker for the most part . For me in my league we usually dont hold injured kickers until they return there are too mant other suitable choices in that position to tie up a roster spot .
