ANTONIO GATES READY TO GO WEEK 7

News: San Diego TE Antonio Gates is active for Week 7 against the Jets after dealing with a foot injury that has forced him to miss three games this season. Gates, who was considered questionable on the injury report, has not played since Week 2 when he was held without a catch against New England. He was a full participant in practice last Friday after missing the previous two session as planned by coach Norv Turner.

Analysis: Gates could be a little rusty as he plays in a game for the first time in more than a month. Turner said earlier this week he does not intend to utilize Gates for the entire game, but he will still see the majority of snaps. Gates, who scored 10 touchdowns last season, has tallied eight receptions for 74 yards this year. Consider him a low-end No. 1 Fantasy TE against a Jets defense which is permitting an average of just five Fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends.

HILLIS OUT AGAIN WEEK 7

News: Browns RB Peyton Hillis (hamstring) is inactive for Week 7 vs. Seattle. Montario Hardesty will start in his absence.

Analysis: This is not a surprising move. Hillis didn't practice with the team all week and the Browns will want to rest him so he doesn't suffer a long-term injury. Look to other alternatives in Fantasy Week 7

WR JOHNSON WON'T PLAY WEEK 7

News: Texans WR Andre Johnson (hamstring) did not return to practice Friday and will sit out Week 7 at Tennessee. It will be the 30-year-old’s third straight game on the sidelines since he was injured during the second quarter of Houston’s 17-10 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Oct. 2. Coach Gary Kubiak said Johnson is “not where he needs to be right now,” though he added Johnson is healing faster than expected.

Analysis: This is not shocking news since the Texans indicated all week that Johnson wasn't expected to return Week 7. “I’m not 100 percent, but very happy about the way I feel," Johnson said. "After what I did today, it just lets me know that everything is headed in the right direction.” He is hinting that the recovery process is going well and a Week 8 return is possible, but Fantasy owners will have to keep Johnson reserved Week 7 and track his progress next week.

Miami's Daniel Thomas......Promising if he plays

Miami's rookie running back Daniel Thomas is a very promising running back but he has been slowed this season with a hamstring injury . He was hoping last weeks bye would have gave him the time to heal up and it looked good at the beginning of the week but as the week went on he practiced less and now is listed as questionable for Monday nights matchup against the New York Jets . Thomas has played in only two of the dolphins 4 games this year and he leads the team in rushing  with 202 rushing yards . If Thomas  can get healthy he will be a force for the Dolphins and make a impact in the NFL Thomas was predicted to be the rookie of year and if he would actually play then maybe he would be  . If you have Thomas on your fantasy roster then I would definitely hold on to him until he is healthy enough to play . Thomas is on my fantasy roster and each time he starts for the Dolphins he will also start on my team I have that kind of faith in him .
